The Saga Yakuza not only triumphs in consoles: Sega announces millionaire sales on PC

The Yakuza saga is one of those to which their initial condition very successful franchise focused on the Japanese market will play against a SEGA in its early years, specifically at the time of reaching the West. Today no one doubts the quality of the different deliveries, with continuations as Yakuza: Like a Dragon or Judgment series.

So far, we lacked more data about their performance away from consoles, since initially it was a brand associated with PlayStation more than anything else. Now almost all titles are available on other platforms, and thanks SEGA results report, which has taken stock at the end of 2021, we know that the series has sold 2.8 million units PC.

They all deliveries are available from 2019 figures pertaining to sales worldwide and counting the different deliveries from 2019, landed earlier in computers but with some exceptions released on Steam. It seems that the game BYU Ga Got Studio are working well considering we are talking about a franchise is associated with consoles and, as we said at the beginning, addressed directly to the Japanese culture.

However, the bad news is that we will not see the Judgment saga PC. A few months ago, SEGA clarified a misunderstanding that seemed to point toward it, but problems with the agency Tanya Timur, the actor who plays the protagonist, are impossible to occur something. We'll have to settle for a Lost Judgment on consoles that while maintaining the essence of the first installment, representing a considerable leap in terms of history.
