Twitch needs to improve to stop hate incursions

Nervous contraction Streaming has become increasingly popular in recent years, and many can make a living on the platform. While many users are transmitted to themselves by playing videogames, there are many other types of content creators on the site. In the past, Twitch has also expressed support for marginalized voices, especially at times as the month of black history or the month of pride. However, recently, many of these creators have been attacked with hatred incursions at a rate before seen, which occur almost daily and, in some cases, for hours.

The hate incursions are not new for twitch, but lately they are reaching the platform at a record speed. In general, the raids are destined to be fun ways to get different communities to interact, so when a creator ends its transmission, he will take his community to another transmitter's space. The communities are intermingled and, sometimes, this can generate friendships among creators. Hate raids, however, make a creator take his viewers to a different transmission channel and send hate messages, often racist and / or homophobic in his chat. The hatred incursions have become increasingly common and Twitch must recognize the problem in front.
