There seems to be some drama around the successful animated series of Netflix, Castlevania (again). Following the controversy related to the creator of the program, Warren Ellis, who was withdrawn from the project last year due to several accusations, the ADI Shankar producer is now in the headlines.

Shankar apparently will not be involved in the spin-off of Castlevania, Rondo of Blood. According to The Hollywood Reporter, a demand has been filed in the name of it in the Superior Court of Los Angeles, with affirmations that the producer Kevin Kolde invented a plan to expand the Castlevania series without the participation of Shankar and increase his own Profits.

Shankar affirms that there was a verbal agreement between the parties, which guarantees that he would continue to participate creatively in any future project of Castlevania and would receive a compensation participation of 33%. Shankar has been confirmed as the producer of the upcoming Netflix video game adaptations of Assassin's Creed and Devil May Cry, so it will be interesting to see how it works.

The Netflix Castlevania derived project takes place in 1792 in France and is starring Richter Belmont and Maria Renard.
