Control - The Foundation (DLC) Review - A great chapter reports to the Barr

If you played in Control, the action game of Remedy Entertainment, the chances are: you like it! It's a fairly winning formula. A well written, files x a kind of history. A confident protagonist. Impressive psychic powers. Extra-dimensional quirk. He had just enough innovative gameplay ideas and fun rhythms, but all this was wrapped in a sense of magisterial tone. So more control: definitely a good thing right? If the Foundation is proof, Oh yeah.

Do you remember the extension packs? Foundation is a DLC, but I have the impression that the original deployment of the DLC has somehow expanded this past word by being useful. Sometimes the DLC expands the existing game, sometimes it adds new chapters, sometimes it seems that something should have been there all the time, sometimes it is an armor for your horse. Foundation feels like an honest return extension pack to kindness. It's a suite of the basic game, and although it's not all the game duration, it's more than one added on mission. The new gameplay segments are built around new capabilities that do not revolutionize what the game looks like, but they are rather cool.

When you start the Foundation, Jesse Faden is now in a way the director of the FBC. Whistles are always a threat, but after proven in the initial conflict (the main game), she gathered her team of lieutenants and she is ready to get to work. The Holder Foundation is the top floor of the oldest house, and as you could probably assume it, it's a little more than a simple sanitary emptiness in the basement. He ramps with Hiss, and in his new adventure, Jesse will learn more about the history of the FBC, the forces that oppose it and the nature of the mysterious directors.

I mean, somehow. While more things happen, I did not really come out of Foundation, as if I knew even more. Genre, you Conne About the Oceanview Motel? You know things that happened there and you know how to operate the lighting switches three times, but everything in Control is explained only at a certain point. It's a kind of call for me.

So what is certain? Well, there are new capabilities. There is one major: the form. The foundation is filled with crystalline outcrops, which Jesse can turn into platforms. I guess it does not seem so cool on paper, but it opens fun navigation puzzles, which were not too many in the basic game. I remember seeing the few inclusive, so more were welcome. Quite quickly, you also have the opportunity to explode the crystals. It was more fun than I thought. I found myself planning fighting meetings and placing traps, shaping crystals under my enemies and explode them. It was great!

There is also the ability to rush to the shield. It's not "new" in itself; It is an extension of the existing shield power (and RAD). Now you can carry your pile of bricks into a dash and crush guys. He feels good. It's actually something that has been added to everyone's game, buy DLC or not! While explosive crystals led me to see new combat strategies, the shield rush gave me room to play even more aggressively. The set of Jesse movements feels more complete, and there are a ton of viable approaches of the oldest house.

More history and powers are excellent, but neither would do much if the new content was not well designed. Fortunately, Remedy has learned a lot and the new stuff pushing you to enjoy every game system. The new enemies are perfect for that. You always fight the hiss, but a new variety focuses on melee attacks, which makes the new shield movements precipitated and traps a necessity. Regular meetings were very amusing in Control, but they were not so memorable. This is not the case in Foundation, which leads to really breathtaking parts.

It is also a product of the Level Design. The Foundation is a series of caves but rather than being claustrophobic, the fights take place in enormous open arenas that remind the career of Black Rock or Panopticon. In other words, you will have many opportunities to make the most of your flight powers and other mobility options.

Forza Motorsport 7 | CONTROLLER SETTINGS TUTORIAL Basically, all this helps to increase the control of the foundation in all ways. It's not a new game, far from it, but it's a catchy continuation and leaves you without envy the next chapter. The improvements are progressive, but if Remedy can continue on this momentum, the next payment should be the true masterpiece. There are not enough titles of action of psychic power, and at the moment, Control is the best game in town. __
