How to change the appearance in Aliens Fireteam Elite

If you are not satisfied with the character you design, you can luckily change it anytime.

To do this, click the button to get to the menu that is started on a controller. This opens the menu in which you select your next mission, change your equipment or class, and browse your inventory and change your settings. Next, navigate to the Loadout section and at the bottom of the Appearance section, the Change Basic Presentation option. This calls the same screen for character adjustment you have seen at the first start of the game with all available options. The properties you can change are archetype, with which you can choose between a female and male character, facial type, skin tone, eye color, hairstyle, facial hairstyle, hair color and voice, with multiple options for each.
