DOSB reaffirms: Election of the Bureau in December

The Fédération Sportive Féminine Internationale (FSFI)-- or, in English, the International Women s Sports Federation-- was founded in October 1921 by Alice Milliat because of the objection of existing sporting activities organisations, such as the International Olympic Committee as well as the International Amateur Athletics Federation, to let females compete in sports, particularly at an international degree. The German Olympic Sports Federation is expected to receive a new Bureau in December. The DOSB reaffirmed this plan on Sunday after a meeting of Bureau, Executive Board and Mumbine Groups. The decision made in December to carry out early elections for the entire Bureau in December, was confirmed again today, it said in a message of the DOSB.
